COMPANY PROFILE

Our company was established in 1974 with the purpose to project and produce quality electro-magnetic components for applications in industrial and professional electronics.

After the first few years, dedicated to improve the technology of production as well as the administration and commercial organization, the company has grown to the present size of:
- 50 employees
- 2500 square meters of covered surface area
- over 6.000.000 $ of sales.

Sirio Elettronica is organized following the requirement of the standards DIN EN ISO 9000:1994: we were certified by TÜV (D) with date 04/08/1995 following DIN EN ISO 9001. Owing to the production process and the product testing which have been well-documented for many years, we are able to issue papers of conformity.

The organizational chart of our factory, structured following DIN EN ISO 9001, points out the attention paid to human resources and gives a qualified service to our customers.

Sirio Elettronica Srl, has invested in technology since the beginnig and in order to show the achieved level, we consider:

• Machinery continuosly updated and controlled by computers
• Under-vacuum impregnation with resins compatible with insulating material and with the enamelled wires
• Instruments, (measuring apparatus) in the production area, able to chek 100 per cent of produced items
• Instruments for the laboratory to develop and plan new products (mainly for measurements of "corona effect" to 30 kV, for pulse-wave test to 12 kV, for electro-magnetic compatibility from 10 Hz to 30 MHz, for thermal tests from -70 °C to +180 °C and for the measurement of inductance for all frequencies with or without DC component).

The laboratory has certified "instrument standards" to calibrate all internally used instruments.

We would like to point out that Sirio Elettronica Srl has a high level of internal data processing capability by means of the EDP System, covering all factory activities, from the Planning to the Production, the Inspection of Quality Assurance to the Check-in and Check-out of goods, and in the Forwarding Department (bar-code).

Thanks to this, our factory easily adjusted itself to the Standard DIN EN ISO 9001 without significant cost penalties.

With this short presentation about our factory and our work, we have tried to give you an overview of Sirio: to increase the relationship between our companies following DIN EN ISO 9001 standards.
